Hi everyone :) I wanted to share some ideas with you about how the "Revive" skill can be changed. Let's say that I like that skill, especially for one who doesn't want to play with undead only (actually, Revive is my favourite necro skill in D2, since you can revive your favourite monster and have it to fight for you).
There are, however, things i'd like to change about it. For example, they are not considered your minions, so they don't follow you in town nor in the various dungeon levels, and, nevertheless, they're timed, and die after a minute or so (i don't remember their timer exactly).

That's what I had in mind : I ask you what do you think about fewer but permanent revives (not champions-fanatics and bosses ofcourse, that would unbalance the gameplay) and a significant cooldown time after you've revived one monster (for example, you can revive one permanent monster out of... let's say... 5 or 6 ... every 2-3 minutes).
I think this could be a nice solution since spamming revive could be a bit unbalanced and it's an easy way to win every fight (you just let your skeletons kill a monster, then cast some corpse explosion, then revive).

I don't agree. The system which is now works good. Just revievers should teleport/move with character as skeletons do. That's all.

Revived monsters and zombies are just exploited corpses of fallen monsters. They are not regular mininons.

Skeletons are changed as they were in D2. In D2 they were 'exploited corpses' too. So... For Necro balance - all summoned creatures should teleport with Necro and maybe Skeletons should be only risen from corpses?

It would be nice to do that, but they'd have to change a lot of game mechanics in my opinion. I have a level 41 necromancer and i'm trying to challenge the game in Torment difficulty, and i often have to spam skeletons because of those bosses, that are enchanted with flash and/or charged bolt (capable to kill my skeletons in few seconds, since my minions strikes all together), while revives don't last enough to kill a behemoth boss :P
