So, about rings and gambling

Post by Constance »

Hi there ^^

I tried searching for the answer but there are too many results :(

Basically I just want to know: is it worth gambling on expensive rings or are they just the same as the cheaper ones (and Gheed is selling them at higher price just because he can, that greedy bastard)?

While gold farming is quite easy i think that gambling more expensive jewelry is worth your cash. You just need to rememer that rares are rare so you can gamble few rings and get only blue ones. They're good for crafting afterall ;p But when you get yellow one then you'll know that it was worth time and gold ;p

Gambling rings aren't very good. I tried to get different things on gambling but it takes rly much money and still, dropped items was rly better. About crafting rings, they are very good and I can also tell you that the best Rings are Crafted rings. I will hunt now for the second one nice 10+ % critical hit chance ring for my worrior :) it's worth work

Some rings are more expensive because of item level, higher lvl can have better stats (itd how here, but in D2 and D3 higher ilvl == higher POSSIBLE maximum value of stat, but still can be crap). And i disagree with Rota. I get from Gambling my helm on lv3 dungeon or so, and changed it on around 13lv. And crafted rings are better because of unique stats like spell level +. I dropped on normal diff my rare ring, +17 magic, +13 to all, +30 mana, +30lighting resist.

For me Gambling have same chance(or similar) of good item like drop it from monster.

Rings that are lvl 3 before purchase, can transform in level 30 or higher, for exemple, because of the properties. And level 32 rings before purchase sometimes stays at level 32 after purchase, but only because the design of the ring is lvl 32 and its properties are sometimes worse than the first one mentioned. Oh, note that I am talking about rare rings. It isn't always like this... but the question remains: does it worth buying expensive rings?
