im having a problem with crafting

i got a craft: Disciples Ring, i have all the salvaged items but im still missing the "Ring". everything is green in the required items list except the ring.

as far as i know there are no white named rings in the game, all of them are magical (blue name) or higher. how can i finish this recipe?

ive tried to use multiple different rings, even unindentified while its name is only "Ring" before it displays prefix/suffix.

That's bizarre.

Any and I mean ANY ring should qualify for the recipe.

I have made a small number of rings without incident using an identified magic ring as base...

**Oh I know what your doing wrong... You need to put the ring on the left, not the right. If you shift click the items to put them into the appropriate slots it will but the base item on the left and gems and whatnot on the right automatically.

ahh! thanks very much, i guessed that left side was for the product, but didnt think to put the item that is being modified into there.

preparing for the diablo fight and been trying to upgrade my equipment, hoping i get something good.
