My game doesn't auto save HELP!

So I just started playing Belzebub on single player, so I create a character and start a new game, but when I exit the game and start it up again, my character isn't saved and the only thing that's shown is "New Hero"?
I've been into the properties and set a check mark on "Run as administratior" but it still won't auto-save my game?
I made a character, played for a few minutes, sold a few things and stashed some items, but when I then exit the game and start it up again, it only says "New Hero"
Am I missing something or? I'm running on Windows 7 system.
I could really need some help.

Set Windows XP SP3 mode
Run as Administrator

Make sure PLAYER_SAVE directory is not set to Read Only.

Hi mate, could you take some pictures and attach, so I can see what file and properties that I should make a tick at and what files that I need to go into and make some changes? I'd really appreciate that

Right click your shortcut

Select Compatibility Tab
√ Run this program in compatibility mode for [Windows XP Service Pack 3}
Settings [uncheck all]
Privilege Level
√ Run this program as an administrator

It sounds frustrating! Have you checked if the game has permission to save files in the directory? You might also want to try running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7. Good luck!
