Gems :: Change flawless/ruby ruby to flawed

Hi there,
is there a way to change a flawless / ruby , ruby, into flawed ? I have receipts that require flawed rubys but i got only ruby/flawless.

Gem recipes are just upgrading, cant downgrade.

x3 flawed gems > x1 regular gem
x3 regular gems > x1 flawless gem
x3 flawless gems > x1 perfect gem

iirc there are downgrade recipes, but you need to find them as any other craft recipe.

Yes, there are recipes that require all the crafting materials.

If you're having a problem getting more basic crafting materials the best solution is to start a new character who can farm them in the lower levels.
