IS the mod dead?
Can say me somebody if this game is in working?
Greetings.
Brightlord, the creator of this amazing mod, has announced that he will not be working on it any futher.
That being said, he decided some weeks ago to release the source for the project under an MIT license, so that it may continue being developed by another person/team.
Although it's still too early to predict what will come of this move, I can verify that the source was given to the people responsible for the Freeablo project (link: https://freeablo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=27), which means that at least one capable modding group will have the chance to pick up on the development of Tchernobog, in one form or another.
Keep in mind that it might be a while before we see this come to fruition, especially considering that the Freeablo guys, respectable as they of course are, have not exactly been the speediest modding group around.
