I have read that there is no longer development happening for this mod which is a shame.

If some of the community got their hands on the core files and editor etc, we could be talking major content updates to make the game huge.

For example the quest to kill the maiden of anguish in forests edge. This gave me a real diablo 2 starting zone vibe.

I know the assets available for building new areas would be limited, but i would go so far as to say we could make an entire new chapter and even a town, with new NPCs, quests, new items etc.

I get the feeling this mod was made by a single person with much dedication. Imagine what a large team of volunteers could achieve.

I really hope development hasn't stopped, these days it's virtually a requirement to make the old Diablo bearable.

If development does end I hope it's opened up so it might be supported for years to come.
