The Road to 60?

Post by pocket951 »

I know I have posted on this before, but for me level 56 took ~5500 torment 10 kills, 57 took ~8500 t10 kills and I calculated 58 to be ~11,500 torment 10 kills.

can I assume 59 will be 14,500 t10 kills and 60 will be 17,500 t10 kills or more?
is that pretty close to ball park?

by torment I mean $players 10 or Monser Power 10, and I am assuming that all of these kills are on level 15/16 mobs in hell levels with an avg worth of 50 k exp

Clvl 60 needs almost 4.3 billion xp, i don't know how many runs that means but after you gain a new level you receive less xp from same monsters in same area that you farmed until gaining 1 more level. And xp value received is dependent on the types of monsters that randomly appear on that lvl, meaning they give different values, but Terror's Domain always spawns same monster types and those give most xp.

Level 58 is roughly ~600 million exp..and I noticed the XP values have gone down a bit, but not to much at the highest level

from 59 to 60 is there a significant change in xp value or is it minor?

but for clvl 60 your saying I need to kill roughly 7 x 12,000 monsters?

roughly 84 or 85k monsters at the lowest levels.

(7x 6 mil= 4.2 billion)

why so much grinding?

I don't really know how to answer your question because i didn't pay much attention to this. I only gotten 1 (out of 18 ) character to lvl 60 just because, with the rest i didn't really bother to, even left one at 51 and he was still viable and had beaten Torment Diablo.

If you ask me the characters don't really need levels above 50, so the 10 extra levels are just something to get if you keep playing, i'm sure there is a progressive formula for xp required to next level, and it gets higher and higher because of multipliers. But it's like this because it's not really a must, i guess it's more for the completionist type and for bragging rights.

So if you're gonna test it and find out how many runs post it, others might want to know as well.

When my 59 lvl Rogue clear River of flame on Player 10 mode the experience is increased by 1 mm. Soon it will be my 3-rd 60 lvl Rogue.
Rogue fastest gaining experience. I do not envy those who are gaining the experience to other characters.

reposted to edit/avoid double post

so right now I am using a google spreadsheet to keep track of total exp, exp required to level and many other things, like how much xp certain monsters give on $player 10 difficulty and I am also keeping track of how much exp I get per level 16 clear on $player 10

I will try to get an average of exp per run as I continue to grind and get a rough idea of how many runs it would take

is this kind of data of any use/interest to anyone?

also this rogue is my very first character, and I messed her attribute point distribution up, so I want to get to 60 to re-allocate all points towards a pure dex build for insane damage.

also, by getting my rogue to 60 I should have found all the gear/crafting recipies I will ever need for all the chars

I am not really counting the amount of runs, I can keep track of total exp per level though

level 57 is 595,895,737 xp

Yeah, i think it is. It's useful to know you only need x runs for next level up and being able to schedule in general to reach a goal, as encouragement to put more time into max leveling a character if one feels it's getting too tedious and repetitive or just decide that it's too much and if that character is fine one can chose to start over with a different character.

so..I just hit level 58

one thing I noticed is that in general, mot monsters give ~2.5% less exp

and each level requires ~1.4 times the exp required to earn the previous one

I leveled some low characters to it took ~1.3 times the experience earned the previous level to get the next

so to get level 59 it will take me 827,333,494 EXp

level 58 took 595,895,737 exp from 57

if I get to level 59 I will have a total of 3,125,898,778 exp (3.12 bil)

based on my rough calculations level 59-60 will require roughly 1,158,421,312 exp (1.16 bil)

if you add 3.12 and 1.16 you get 4.28 billion (4.3 bill rounded up)

once I get to 59 I will have the exact value of exp required to get to 60, but I have a rough idea of what it will be

To get 60 lvl from 59 need about 20 runs for clear 16 lvl and Teror Domain on $player 10.

well, with good gear thats easy, but when its youre first class and you got only crafted items "$player 10" is too hard i guess.
