General Questions (Belzebub -> Tchernobog?)

Hi there,
I am a soul in search of answers ;-)
Hope you guys can help me with my newbish questions:

1. How is Belzebub related to Tchernobog? Is Tchernobog just the multiplayer extension with the same content as Belzebub? (Only played a bit of Belzebub so far.. needless to say I'm blown away! :-))

2. Is there a complete featurelist somewhere? Or maybe even a wiki? (hey, a man can dream ). The feature section on the main page is not very descriptive actually ;-)

Truth be told, for the work and efford that obviously went into this mod the website is suprisingly sparse with information :D

There are others here that are closer to the Dev "BrightLord" that can probably answer better.

Belzebub and Tchernobog are both parts of the development of Diablo I HD Mod. Belzebub is playable in full as single player beta. Tchernobog is feature limited multi-player in alpha.

Development was focused on multi-player as of the last dev release. BrightLord has lost interest in putting time into code that he is dissatisfied with because of problems with syncing events and quests in MP. He has stated that at this point code needs to be rewritten from scratch.

Ideas for future development from dev and players that have been brought up in this forum are:

Balancing some class skills, spells, items, magic items
Bug fix to several set items
Quest engine for MP
New unique and set items
Adding weapons classes that are currently locked
Adding crafting items that are currently locked
Incorporating possibly Hellfire content, items and classes
Adding new and expanded quest locations and dungeon levels
PvP combat zone
Enemy respawn
New class skills such as two fisted fighting, single hand wield of two handed weapons
Balancing the gold system by creating something to spend gold on

So there are only two developers on this and they have worked on different branches of the same project..wow :D for just two people it sure has come a far way.

Do you know if the project is open source? I mean.. this is the best looking and most fun diablo 1 mod I've come across so far, I'm sure you could find people willing to contribute..

There was only one dev, BrightLord but the mod is no longer being developed, so this is it. Source code was not released and probably won't be, there aren't any capable or willing people to push it forward even if someone says they want to do it. It took years to get a working beta/alpha with several hours of work everyday by someone who knew what he was doing, plus there is a freeablo project that has been open source for years and no one made anything with it, so these willing people to contribute are just a myth, just play the mod as is and have fun.

Thanks, guess I'll do just that: play the game and have fun.
That documentation looks great btw. surely took some time as well! :)
