Handfull of questions here
1. What is the name of the rogue set? and is it any good? is there any way to farm it or just rng+grinding
2.Is there any good place to grind for gear/exp? I have been doing level 16/Lazarus runs with MF and have had some results. just not finding what I am looking for though
3. Should I be concerned with having mf on my gear at this point or do I go balls to the walls dps? I currently have 90% MF.
4. When do I consider killing hell Diablo?
5. What level should I be before I start torment?
6. when do I start using the $player x command to level faster?

Good questions.
1. Arctic Furs, Vidalia's Snare, Aldur's Deception, Iratha's Coil, M'Avina's True Sight. Roughly in that order, but some set items can be upgraded with crafting.
2. Grind anywhere, does not matter for xp, I like caves for Rogue. For gear, any of the treasure trove areas - Hall of Bone, Secret Treasure Map, Horazon' s Sanctum, and killing off bosses .
3. It is always having some gear with MF, or at least equip something when you open the chests. Try to always gear maximum resistances with any gear combination. My MF is around 325% on my looting/crafting character (Necromancer 51).
4. If you have defeated Lazarus, then you are ready to go after Diablo. You may not succeed at first, but change tactics and equipment to adapt to the randomness of the enemies spawned.
5. Start torment as soon as you defeat Diablo Hell. No use going back to normal through hell unless you are looking for low level uniques or set items.
6. I always play at the highest $player x level I can without getting killed every 5 minutes. Before reaching level 48 Rogue, I played at mostly $player 8 or 10 all through Hell difficulty. But now at the beginning of Torment have a very tough time at $player 0 in the Cathedral levels.

2 more questions.
1. am I the only one who thinks its stupidly unfair that deathknight bosses 1 shot me 95% of the time and cant be slowed?
Its just really annoying that my strategy to kill these guys is to teleport and abuse the terrain+AI, I use golems to and they don't help much
also, Doomsayers feel brokenly op with their slow cold attacks. you basically get hit once and you can't even teleport because you cast so slowly your locked in recovery and it feels really cheap.
I mean I do have armor that makes me immune to chill, I just think it's silly that I am forced to wear it. I would much rather just make a new game and avoid these mobs altogether

Deathknight bosses are supposed to be tough, but every enemy can spawn with slightly different statistics. You must adapt the strategy.
Golem is your shield. Keep one at all times to distract the enemy.
Use the terrain and fire guided arrows with piercing shot. A bow and equipment with at least +30% speed, 10% mana drain, and knockback are needed to keep bosses out of melee range.
Teleport and always keep moving around.
There are several items that give immunity to cold. Find the amulet.
You will appreciate Iratha set combined with a good mana draining razor bow.

Which Items give emerald from salvaging and is there a way to make normal gems into flawed? Because i just need flawed emerald for rogue crafting.
And what element is best for sorcerer because i see monster with magic and fire resistance. is cold good to kill most monster with spells? Is there difference between sorcerer and necromancer or is it just skills and some items like crafted items?

Hi darkprincess and welcome to the forum!
Salvaged materials seem to be random, thou items found in higher dlvls give better materials. And gems can't be downgraded, only upgraded, and it's better to find the 2nd and later tiers of recipes for your rogue, it's not really worth it to craft the 1st tier (which uses flawed gems).
As for element it depends, use them all in different situations, i use Chain Lightning, Blizzard, Meteor Cluster and Bone Spirit, each for monster types that are not immune to that spell's element. Paired with -% (element) resistance staff and Elemental Drain Skill for all around immunes.
Necromancer is basically a safer but slower caster, his minions do the tanking and decent physical damage while you use spells to finish them off.

I went full VIT because it gives a higher pool for casting spells (life also) and has synergy with Necromancer's minions making them tankier, but once you feel your minions are resilient enough you can safely dump your points into MAG for better spell damage, he won't be as fast as the Sorcerer with full MAG but he doesn't need to clear rooms as fast to survive, because he is safe behind his minions almost always.
If you are curious the 2nd post from here shows how VIT and attributes affect the Necromancer: http://awake.diablo1.eu.org/diablo-1-hd ... 11-45.html
