Question Regarding Crafting and qlvl/ilvl

Posting this for a friend but I'm also curious myself.

<Mike> i have a level 50 crafting recipe for a ring for example
<Mike> and i go to dlvl 1 normal and find myself a crappy cursed ring with penaty to stats and no level requirements whatsoever, the lowest base item possible, i use this in the recipe
<Mike> will the craft roll the same as if i (for example) used a reqlevel 48 ring, found in Hell/Hell, for the recipe?

Yes. The original ring style does not matter when crafting. But, I like to get a ring that looks kewl with the characters equipment.

BUG ALERT : CRAFTING, RINGS. Also, if you use one of the unique rings that have a special graphic, the graphic will be lost and it will default to a common graphic ring.

This generally applies to using any unique or set item in crafting, you will loose the special graphic.
