I have about a dozen "Resurrect" scrolls, but I must be doing something wrong because they don't seem to do anything and the Documentation doesn't explain their proper use.
Another observation: The Anvil allows you to transmute gems but not potions? Something I liked in D2 was the ability to transmute potions. It would be nice to see that again (just don't require a gem like the change made to latter D2 patches.)
It's supposed to work in MultiPlayer only, to resurrect a friend. It has no use in Belzebub, cause it's only SinglePlayer.
And you don't need to transmute normal potions, since less than halfway in Nightmare only full potions start dropping, and honestly even in Normal i only pick up the full potions, you don't really need the normal ones, they just fill space. Also it's not like the cube, it's an anvil and should put out only gear.
I used the scroll/spell once to resurect a zombie for about 15 seconds before he imploded. He didn't follow me, didn't move from his spot, and there were no enemies left in the room for him to go after, so the spell didn't seem particulary useful.
If they are still developing the mod, that might be an interesting option.
Are you sure? For me it never did anything, just a white line (similarto the red line the monster Necromancer uses to raise skeleton minions). What you are saying sounds like the character Necromancer's skill Raise Zombie, that works like that on slain monsters that aren't undead and zombies, which are undead. What type of monster did you try the Resurrect on?
