Random questions about mod
Due to a OpenAL error my game closed(ffs, really? Shut down whole app because of sound error? ), and i lost all my gold, something around 800k. Apparantely, if you die in Horazon's pit, you lose all of your gold instead of small amount. And now, when i'm trying to get my gold back using ArtMoney, game says that it's "illegal" and removes everything i'm trying to make.
Single player game. Won't allow me to cheat. Yeah.
So, can somebody help me? Is it really necessary to use cheat engine? Or can i somehow make appropriate amount of gold with ArtMoney without game detecting me?
EDIT: decided to change topic's theme to "ask random questions thread". I believe that it would be better to write in a single topic instead of creating a bunch of new ones. Feel free to ask your questions here!

Took me quite some time(as well as 3 good rares) to realize i can just tag my shared stash file as "read only" and sell my stuff over and over again.
Seriously, why the hell devs care about cheating? This sort of "protection" only adds pain in my ass, and nothing more. Everybody play this game the way they want to play. If a person really want to cheat, he will find a way, as i did.
I can see how this feature could be reasonable in multiplayer, but there's no such thing in this mod.

Actually quite interesting that making money is really easy by locking your shared stash... Hmm, weak point in the game I guess..
Probably the best way would be to have a stash full with rings that sell for 50000 per piece. You can make a fortune that way in just a short time.
However, I don't feel like gold is worth much in this game? Why would you want to make gold?

May I have a question too?
I can use cheat engine (partialy), but everytime I dupe item and such (I don't know how to add or edit existing item) I get some kind of "illegal item detected" and it gets deleted.
Also, is there any way to add/freeze the stat points? Especially this one (stats) would be much, much, very much appreciated. (Or at least hit points, but stats would be way better.)
I tried all I know, but no effect.
Sorry for bothering and thanks in advance.

Dreams shape the world.
Can i find somewhere list of a weapon/armor bases and where do they drop(difficulty/level)? I really need a new gear but i'm not sure if Andariel is capable of giving me something better than i already have.
Actually, all the information about mod loot/dropchances/mechanics/etc. will be greatly appreciated. Would be cool if somebody have some sort of "Belzebub 101.txt" thing

For better equipment, you will need to find a few items with +Magic Find. Also, if you have completed the Anvil quest and have found some Crafting scrolls, you are well on your way. Other than some powerful uniques, crafted items can be some of the best tailored equipment for your character. You will have to work items over and over to get what you want, but eventually you will have some good items.
If you are capable of clearing a certain level and it's quests, try going back in with higher monster level using [ENTER]$PLAYER # command.
Start with $PLAYER 5 and work your way + or - as you are able. You will get better drops and will end up with some +Magic Find.
Have fun. Cheating is mostly a waste of time. You will get there. The point of the game is to be challenging to the end.
When multiplayer is more developed everything will change significantly as to how you play the game. IMO

Yeah, i know everything of that. The problem is - i don't know where to farm. The best place for me timewise atm is Andariel, but again - i don't know if i can find something better that i already own. And just farming levels is extremely inefficient - my chestpiece is so bad i have to constantly drink potions. Almost full inventory of full potions + 25 on belt is barely enough to clear 1/4, at most 1/3 of a single level. Every time i have to go back, identify everything i've found(mostly crap), repair, buy new potions, repeat. It's simply unenjoyable.
And getting information about the game you're playing isn't cheating.
This is my chestpiece, btw. Barbarian 34lvl, nightmare.

Try to find items with magic find and then run this Andariel place. It should give you more chance of getting good things. This is how I did it with my warrior. However, I got tired of the slow speed and low range of him so started sorc and it was more fun. Don't have to run after enemies anymore.

In order to try finding good things, I usually do this : I start the game with my necromancer on Torment difficulty, and then I do some Lost Treasure runs, teleporting to the chests and skipping the snakes and the wyrms. The chests there, as well as the 4 Advocates, can drop very interesting items. Maybe you could consider to create a Necromancer in order to farm pieces for your other classes (a Farmomancer?)
Yeah, i thought about playing rogue/magic character, but i dunno...i've played sorcerer so much in TH i kinda got tired of it. Btw, why exactly Necromancer, and not Sorcerer? The chests there, as well as the 4 Advocates, can drop very interesting items. Well, if you're saying i can find something better, then i'll keep trying
After watching this video and some others on that channel it really seems that every ranged class is boring on higher difficulties. Sorcerer/necromancer is slow, and rogue is simply broken.
What can you say about assassin? She seems interesting, but as far as i can see, she doesn't have any masskill. It would be a huge problem on hell/torment, wouldn't it?
I cannot say anything about the Assassin. I only tried Rogue, Sorceror and Necromancer. The "safest" to play with is the Necromancer. As you've said, though, in Torment he's quite slow : Skeletons are good tankers, but the monsters have tons of HP, especially Behemoth ones (I remember, for example, my Skeletons missing 9/10 hits on Behemothed Blackjade, and that hit that was successful only took her 6 hp...). The gameplay with Necromancer could be faster and less boring in Torment if the Revive system would get some improvements, because they can deal damage even to Behemoth bosses (in my opinion, skeletons should be weakened while revived should be permanent, followers, but lesser in number, i also think that the Necromancer should get a cooldown time on Corpse Explosion to balance the situation : you pass from moments that your char is a demigod to moments you wish to delete it XD)
As for Rogue, i didn't manage to pass normal difficulty : i probably built her badly and with crap stuffs, and monsters just needed 1 hit to take me 1/2 of my hp pool. I'm defenitely NOT the one to ask for rogue
Concerning the Sorceror, it's quite fast and strong, with a very useful (and curable, that's very important) golem. It's downside is that he deals no physical damages (the Necromancer, through its skeletons, can) and he will have trouble in the late game, since it's full of tri - tetra immunes.
These are my experiences, though. There might be people who could say the opposite

I am playing all classes with my primary char being Ugily the Necromancer lvl50. Second is Biach lvl 44 Rogue. Both have been excellent farmers for items and for crafting components. I only craft with the necro, using him to melt down and craft any items for other chars. He gets all new crafting scrolls.
When I farm with Rogue and Necro I run with highest $PLAYER x level I can without being constantly killed for better drops and max XP gain to level up.
I do not identify Magic items, only rare and set. Unless the char or another that I am playing can use the rare, it goes into share to be melted down by necro - everything. Most of my chars have at least two complete item sets for their class, and I swap these around to test playability for a change often. I do save some rare armors and weapons that can be upgraded by crafting. Some of those have been the best hand-me-downs.
When crafting armor, I only chose the base armor if it has the highest AC of its type.
When playing my other char classes which are lvl 21-35 I am playing the current dungeon level and running the quests on the highest $PLAYER x that I can without getting continuously killed. All unwanted equipment goes to share to be melted by my crafty necro. When I complete the current act of the game I will usually then go back to Bone Chamber or Treasure and fill up the share with items to melt. Play on highest $PLAYER x that you can.
Hope this helps.
