What is behemoth

What is behemoth exactly?
I think they have high armor class and physical resistance(up to 75% or more?)

Higher AC, higher physical resistances AND (!) much higher HP.

I always thought they only had a crapton of HP, can you confirm the part about more armor ?

Yes they have a huge armor aswell. Try to compare the same boss (for example, Blackjade or Red Vex) in its behemoth and non-behemoth form using a Necromancer. You'll notice that your Skeletons won't hit it so often, and, when a hit succedes, it just do 10-15 damage [I'm talking about Torment mode, though]. Only Revived monsters, as a necromancer, seem to damage a Behemoth boss. Another way to kill them quickly, if they're not immunes, it's to spam Bone Spirits.
