Simple orders for minions/revived

Post by Ogodei »

There's an idea that has come to me today. What if , after the MP release, you introduce simple orders that can be given to skeleton, golem and revived monsters? I thought about the two typical follow/hold position orders, maybe given by left clicking and right clicking on them.

What do you think about it?

But I think it's rare situation, cuz skeletons got the orders of moving out of ur way and if the problem is rly high u got unsumon skill :P

True :) maybe it's not necessary to add commands like these. I also thought it could have lead to some new strategies in battle, but we'll see. The current following system is not bad

I actually thought it was much better when the Golem could wander somewhat freely, instead of just staying close to the player like he's been doing for a few versions now :/

I think golem's A.I. is fine for now, the only problem is that sometimes it really slows you down when he is in front of doors fighting, not letting you through immediately, forcing you to unsummon or teleport. So, in my opinion, in the future, if there is a possibility it would be nice to have the simple commands like Ogodei described.

And since we are talking about golem spell, what you guys think of putting its health bar on the upper right corner with its icon? It is hard to know how much of golem is left when it is surrounded by monsters, and I think it is important to know that.

And now I may be crazy, but would Brightlord consider increasing golem's walk speed within each spell level up? Maybe half percent, or a little less, per level?

Obs.: And just reminding, golem had directions commands before, it didn't work so well, but this makes Ogodei's suggestion more reasonable.
