Feature bring-back request: Make players feel successful!

Hello,

I love the Belzebub Mod, it really enables me to play this great game again with no compatibility issues what so ever. Really nice

But there is one thing I really liked about the original game which you removed for some reason: And that is, the World being saved when you leave the game.

I personally cannot understand why everything needs to respawn when I close the game and open it again, its as if I did accomplish nothing at all. I also dont like this in the modern Hack & Slay games as well, just breaks the experience a lot for me, making the Adventure inconsistent.

Could this be enabled again in some way so that you can really have the classic Diablo 1 experience, or was it changed for some techincal reason?

It was changed to allow multiplayer and singleplayer have similar features. Could still be included again but not before Apophis strikes the earth in 2029 because there is so much else to do.

Ive some experience in game development and software engineering, but mostly used c# by now. I guess this whole stuff rather has to do with c++ and assembly?

Does anyone know of another mod of a way to mod this one to just upgrade the graphics or to stop the level respawns?
