He's the hardest of the seal bosses IMO. Remember when he casts that spell that sends black ooze flying on every direction? It lowers your magic defense, therefore making you even more vunerable to that spell. Good lifesteal is a must when melee, atleast I think so. High magic and physical resistance too. Remember also to run away if your magic resistance becomes too low, to wait to wear it out. Hope this helps a bit.

I find it works best to fill your inventory (and belt) with potions, open the room and back yourself into one of the little corners that the wall makes. I use cleave on left mouse and just hack away at him, making sure to have teleport ready in case I need to zip out and refill the belt.
If you can, wear gear with lots of extra magic resist even above the resist cap since the debuff will max out (75 stacks I think, but I don't remember) so if you can add that to your magic resist as a kind of buffer then the debuff shouldn't be a problem.
Backing into the corner stops him from knocking you away so much so that you can actually hit him constantly, and the cleave will help keep the adds down but they will still slowly pile up over time so its basically a DPS race.

One thing you can also try is to use Berzerk and chop him down, but make sure to teleport away just as the buff is ending otherwise the exhaustion period after will likely get you killed...wait for the debuff to wear off and repeat.
