This would take a bit of effort but I was thinking a rework of the quest menu would be cool and helpful too.
At the moment it is a list of quest names and if you click on it, you view the text and speech of the guy who gave it to you. Wouldn't it be cool if you had quest buttons which were clickable once you received the quest? Clicking the button would reveal information. A title (Quest Name), Level (Which Level or levels the quest is on), a brief Summary and an extra button to play the quest speech and text.
Would also be helpful if it stated which level the quest was found. Sometimes in mid quest, you take a break from Diablo for a couple of days then forget where your suppose to go for the quest.
I understand this may be conflicting with "Keeping the natural style of Diablo 1". However, this could be overcome by reworking the artwork and interface with Diablo 1 styled boarders, buttons and text. I also understand there may be a lot of work creating icons for the quests and changing the boarder to a Diablo 1 style (so it feels more native to Diablo 1), would take time, but would be worth it in my opinion.
Any feedback guys? This new system would look better and provide more information.
