Can this Lost Treasure chest thingy be done on other difficulties? Say, normal? I'm having a lot of trouble progressing in nightmare with my Rouge and could use a boost like this.

I had a similar experience. He seemed to be frozen for upwards of a minute... I had to wait for all spell effects (fire/lightning walls) and such to end before he aggro'd but he did eventually become hostile.

You need to click on him, he will never aggro you directly, i don t have problems whit him on hell.

Is Lost Treasure the one where you go in Horazons area? Or... ?

The lost treasure is the quest you receive from the little boy, when he tells you about the lost map.
