Greetings travelers and champions of the light!

I would like firstly to thanks for this amazing mod. A long time ago had no such joy from playing any game. Great job and I hope that you will continue to develop this mod, until we will see the multiplayer version.

After playing two weeks and almost finishing Hell Difficulty I would like to share my impressions about the balance of the game from Sorcerer perspective.

General changes

Game works fine and stable, sometimes I had issues with mouse lag, but already I fix it by NVIDIA settings. I recommend to all to turn off vsynch in your GPU settings to avoid this problem.

At last I can see missing and unfinished quests and spells from original Diablo, which are implemented. Great job, I never thought I'd be able to see the lost content.

New spells are working fine, I didn't see any bugs with that.


Spells and skills balance

Some of spells are totally useless cause of mana cost and damage done. I'm disappointed about uselessness of Flame wave, Nova, Immolation, Frozen Orb and Golem.

Golem dies instantly on nightmare and hell,rly long cooldown to cast the spell again.

Good you have add the small cooldown on apocalypse, this spell was totally overpower, now cost a lot of mana and need to wait a bit before cast it again. Still is usefull and actually is the one usefull spell on Hell 17th level vs monsters immune almost for all spells school.

I think Blizzard is a little bit too high damage, on 13th lvl spell can kill relative fast monsters even on MP10. Maybe its good idea to increase cooldown?

Elemental drain's cooldown in my mind its too long. On hell difficulty when you need to deal with immune monsters, without elemental drain sorcerer is defenseless.

Frozen Orb's damage its totaly misunderstanding. Useless spell even on nightmare

In my mind firewall and lightining wall should have added small cooldown between casting. When rare monsters can be stone cursed, on Hell MP10 you can deal with them fast by those spells. It can be cast 20-30 times and unit die almost instantly while monster is stoned ( stone curse ofc :D )


Loot

New unique/set items are awesome, no so overpower and usefull. There is no too high drop rate with that.

Rare affix rolls are correct and matched ilvl and to difficulty level

Magic items, since appeared rare items are not worth to pick it up, even for salvage ( no important mats drops )

Crafted items / crafting system: Its works fine, however some mats are just almost impossible to get ( silver oil ). Recipe drop is ok.

Gold rate and sell prices: Definetly sell prices are too high. Receipes, rares items sells for 30-40k each is easy to be rich man. For sorcerer its actually to easy to buy spells from Adria's Shop.


Bugs and game issues

I didn't find out so much bugs. But few of them require fix:

Telekinesis: when you use on bookcase, the book will disappear. This same with items from shelvs.

Treasure quest bugged - with new patch has been fixed.

Forest's Edge - There is one place ( next to cave where rare Obsidian Lord appears ) on the other side of the river, you can teleport in and this is save spot to kill this beast from distance.

Flash spell - It is still working like on Retail Diablo? I will explain this in this scheme:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 symbol is flash area damage, X is our character

2 3 4
1 X 5
6 7 8

In retail diablo was a bug, that monsters in area 8,7,6,1 did not receive any damage. It is working like that in Diablo Belzebub? I test some and i'm not really sure.

One issue I will write in polish cause I'm not sure how to explain it in english - Sorry guys :) But Noktis will understand that ;)

Bug: Kiedy używam czaru ustawionym na lewym polu do skilli, a czar ten ma cooldown np. 1sec, to gdy spamujemy ten spell, to w czasie kiedy jest aktywny cooldown postać próboje wykonać melee auto atak. Problem w tym, że często póki animacja nie zostanie dokończona nie można rzucić żadnego innego czaru w tym czasie. Mam tak bardzo często gdy na prawym pasku używam teleport a na lewym np. Blizzard. Kiedy otaczają mnie potwory to dopóki postać nie zakończy auto ataku nie można użyć innego czaru. Nie chodzi tu o za mały hit recovery. Czy ktoś z innych magów również zauważył ten problem?

So it is V-synch after all, at least in some cases.
We'll need to put this in FAQ when It will be online, or perhps into the readme file of the mod.

Nawet tego nie zauważyłem, pod lewym przyciskiem myszki non stop miałem spelle z zerowym cooldownem. I rzeczywiście, jeżeli mamy zbindowany pod LMB cokolwiek z CD, to przy próbie spamowania takim skillem postać po prostu auto-atakuje.

Pytanie czy nie jest to umyślne, np. żeby jakiś skill klasowy z niskim CD mógł być ustawiony na ten LMB i można było atakować nim co CD, a w międzyczasie wykonywać normalne ataki.

I just tried to reproduce this bug, but failed.

One question:
Did you used Telekinesis on a bookshelf that was beyong your view range? Behind the wall, other room? If yes, then it seems like the book dissapears, but it will be lying on the floor once you get there.

In Diablo you saw the book due to mechanics of spotting and drawing objects and sprites. In Belzebub this changed and you don't see items that are outside of your view range.

Właśnie sobie chwilkę pograłem swoim sorcem gdzie musiałem mieć Blizza pod LPM. Problem jest tego typu. Rzucasz blizza, wchodzi ci w CD więc postać autoatakuje, dostaje w międzyczasie bęcki wchodząc w Hit Recovery i pomimo gotowości blizza na LPM, jeśli nie przestałeś klikać cały czas sorc robi melee attack. Raczej to jest główny problem a nie to, że na CD czy na braku many na skill/spell na LPM sorc przechodzi w AA.
