Item rarity question.

I just started playing Diablo 1 for the first time with this mod (1.045 version). And Im a little confused, in the first level i found already five yellow items. Two with my test necromancer just to see how he plays, and three with a fresh warrior start. And only two blue items. Shouldn't yellow items be pretty rare?

Not really you'll be selling most them for money... green drops are the one that drops rarely... I've been playing for like almost 2 months i just started getting characters into nightmare difficulty. On normal if your rare item sells for $20,000+ it has crazy good stats might consider a keeper for another class... But if you collect enough green equipment you'll salvage or sell almost everything
