Black Mushroom quest is frustrating

I'm currently on torment and I can't find the freakin mushroom.

Torment maps are way too big, rooms are dark, mob density clutters the entire map with loot, and the absolute worst problem with this quest is that the mushroom doesn't show up when you hold alt. I've spent the last 3 hours trying to find the mushroom to no avail.

Agreed, once, i've full cleared the map and couldn't find it, so i reseted it to make it spawn in a better place, even tho i had to half clear the map again.

It can be hard to find. It is supposed to be hard to find.
But the mushroom is always there, hidden away.

It usually is by a wall, and since it's "hitbox" is so low it's sometimes hard to hover pointer over it. So what i found works for me is instead of going left-right with the pointer while i search tiles, i go up and down, and more down then the eye tells me a tile should be, when it's hidden from sight by a wall.
