Question - Monster Power

Post by TwistedTrip »

Hey there everyone,

As the title says, I had a question about monster power. I tried looking around the net but could only get answers for D3.

So my question is..

If I change the monster power, does it affect the quantity of items dropped by chests as well?

No, just from monsters. It affects hp, dmg and ilvl of drops from all types of monsters.

Where is the sweet spot? For example how does mp10 nightmare cathedral compare to hell mp0 cathedral?

Sweet spot. If you are able to play in Hell, there really isn't any more reason to go back to Nightmare. Drops in Hell are better. Just pick up your game in Hell at the highest $PLAYER X that you can barely stay alive in. I usually start at 5 and keep edging it up unless a dungeon level generates really tough mobs.

Right now, at these middle levels, the goal is to get to level 50 so you can start using high level items. Salvage everything, but don't waste your time crafting items under tier 1 or 2.
