If you break an item down for salvage without IDing the item does it affect the quality of the items you get? I know if you sell an item without IDing the price is affected.
I don't think it has an effect.
If there were to be an update, which there will not be ;(
Identified items should yield better (than unidentified).
Unidentified should yield less (than identified).
Cain should provide an "Identify All" option with Blue costing 100, Yellow 500, Gold 1000, and Green 10000 gold to identify.
Both of these suggestions creates a value for gold that currently does not exist.
Repair of Rare, Unique, and Set items should also cost much, much more.
Crafting could also have a gold cost as a fee to Grizwald the Blacksmith, he would be doing the crafting, not the hero.
Whatever, it is all water under the bridge now.
