any tips for a necromancer trying to beat full power diablo?

i'm level 28, res are all 70-75% 320hp i can't get any damage in before he smashes me. and this is on normal :-\ do i go melee ? do i go magic ? what is he weak vs ? unclear what the strategy

Greed slowed you down

Start a new game, inventory up with blood (life potion), waypoint to level 16, skeleton up your body guards and go to portal to terror domain as quickly as possible.

Cast TP. Clear out the four quadrants then go back around and then go back and clear out the bosses. Forget about picking up loot unless you are snagging blood potions or unique items. TP back to refuel potions and drop off any gold.

Get to Diablo chamber as quickly as possible before he becomes behemoth. You can claim all of your loot once you have won, just don't click the soulstone until you are ready to end the game.

Diablo is probably going to kill your skeletons off in the first few blows. You are on your own from here. Enjoy the carnage.
