Upon attempting to launch the game I get this error. I've tried all the simple solutions that have been offered on previous pages in this forum. Could anyone please try and help me pinpoint why exactly my game isn't working, and how I could perhaps get it to work?
I find it kinda suspicious how several people are getting the very same error with a file that should be in the original game, as if they all downloaded it from a corrupted source, instead of using their own CD (and the screenshot showing your browser's tabs seems to confirm that suspicion)... anyway, have a look at this thread : http://awake.diablo1.eu.org/error-while ... -t896.html
Yeah I have no idea. My vanilla Diablo works fine. I have the CD right here. I was browsing through the various threads on this forum and it was suggested that I download diabdat.mpq from another source. Which I did, and it didnt work. So I am at a loss here.
Copy the .mpq from the original Diablo CD and paste it into the folder that contains Belzebub.exe. When you click on your cd drive, you may need to click explore in order to view the files instead of it auto playing the disc.
