This mod is good but way too easy

The hell is better simply because its difficult, this mod is super easy and reminds me of normal diablo 1.

Everything else is good/very well made.

But no challenge.

Made a mage and am just crushing every enemy.

You still have three other difficulties, and the command "$player '0-10' " that may change your opinion.

Yup, normal is easy. Wait for Hell, then just remember that there's still Torment after Hell... Then think once again is this mod is easy or not (;

Once you near the end of even nightmare difficulty the difficulty ramps up exponentially...but its a "big numbers" kind of difficulty that, I think, Brightlord has mentioned wanting to sort out.

You'll find very quickly quad-immune monsters and have to resort to golem and waiting on your -resist cooldown to deal with, and once you reach end-nightmare and torment you'll find poison and lightning enchanted monsters to be quite difficult and end up skipping them altogether, especially if paired with a behemoth affix. Haste is also very troublesome for sorcerors as you will be HR (hit recovery) locked very quickly and have no escape.

You will see...in time...

I half agree with the original post. I'm not sure if its because the Mage is OP or not, or if normal mode is too easy, but I smashed normal mode into the ground (besides Diablo's level giving me a bit of trouble). It was a bit boring breesing through the first 15 or so levels.

Since some people don't find much interest in repeating the game's content 3 times, I feel its important to give some challenge in normal mode too. I only ever beat Nghtmare in Diablo once and never bothered with Hell. Most characters only finished Normal and stopped there. Once you learn most abilities, have seen the areas, quests and monsters, doing it all over in Nightmare is a little repetitive and boring.

Of course I'm going to get flamed by those who put in the dedication to get really good at Diablo to reach and beat the higher difficulties, but think about it. Most casual players don't bother with these later difficulties. The developers mentioned they may remove Torment for another mode, which is a good idea in my opinion.

My main point is; don't make Normal mode a piece of cake, because its the main mode that most players will experience. Unless your here for a serious challenge and spend a lot of time grinding, you won't make it to Hell so the arguement "wait until you get to Hell for a real challenge" seems a bit silly.

Opinions?

Mhhh, I disagree with the ones who say that Belzebub is easy and that in The Hell the Mage is the worst class. Belzebub might be "easy" in normal difficulty, but your first problem, if you're not cheating or moving already obtained strong equipment to your mini-char, will be defeating Diablo at Normal Difficulty. Then, after beating the game in Nightmare/Hell, you'll have to face Torment. Torment difficulty is a bit worse than The Hell's doom difficulty (differently from The Hell, though, Players can decide to make it even worse by using the $Player x command) .

As for Diablo: The Hell, I don't think that Mage is a bad class, since I got a level 49 Mage and beated the game in Doom mode [Single Player]. I don't cheat nor use any duping method. To play as a Mage, from my experience, you need to think before acting and have good reflexes to face what's happening in front of you (or behind... those damn Hiddens!!!) in a very short time. If two or more monsters manage to catch you, you have a good chance get killed in few seconds, that's true, but that's also what makes that mod (as well as Belzebub in Hell/Torment) exciting and funny to play :)
