Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

First of all - WOW!!! This is fantastic. Diablo is by far the best of the series and you guys have done an amazing job with this. I loved the original, but actually never finished it. Almost 20 years later, and it looks like I finally will. Multiplayer will be a blast. It looks like you already have it working, so I can hardly wait. On crafting, I see that there's a forum entry where people are posting their best crafted weapons/armour but when I'm in game it tells me crafting isn't working yet (?)

Oh yeah, my question: where's the Butcher? I can find his room on level 2, but no Butcher.

Yes, I thought the same things when I first played Belzebub, so i can understand your feelings

As for the Butcher, you have to cast a town portal within his room, then a red portal will open.
That was a removed feature of original Diablo 1, that was cut down along with many other quests and game files [graphics, sounds, items and so on].
In Belzebub, you'll find every of these removed quests and features
