Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Lost treasure quest. We go down the tunnel to discover three chests with goodies AND a passage to the Soulstone chamber.

But why? I mean - i love all the quests added because i know they were supposed to be in the origianl Diablo (but Blizzard run out of time or something) but this Soulstone chamber part seems out of place to me, despite how cool it is.

Can someone provide me with some insight in terms of lore of this quest? Was it revealed in diablo 3 that there was such chamber under Tristram? Or was it just an orignal idea of the developer so we can have a area to loot spellbooks?

I suggest u read the townfolks speech on the quest. If there is no reference then id think its just an idea of bright lord and folks

If by soulstone chamber you mean where Lazarus found it then it only makes sense that it should be somewhere in the neighbourhood.
