Question on "reduce target rsistance"

I, just found a prety good staff with "reduce targe lightening resistance by 10%"

How does it work please ?

Exemple for a mob that have 60% redsist lightenin

does the new monster résistance is 60*0.90 ?
or 60 - 10 ?

It granted you -10% to monster resistance to a particular elemental spell.

Here you have staff that I found, it has -30% monster fire & lighting resistances.

It's not multiplier. It's simple substraction from monster resistance.

Staff with -20% fire resist.

1. Monster with 50% fire resist = 30%
2. Monster with 110% fire resist(immune) = 90%
3. Monster with 0% fire resist = -20% (your damage multiplied by 1.2)

Thanks, that's really a powerfull affixe so :)
