Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Seems like a dumb question, it seems like the game saves automatically when you exit, but how do you save manually? There's no option for it in the menu.

Autosave is the only save feature in my opinion, it plays just like Diablo 2.

If I wanted diablo 2 I would play it instead. This mod looks great and I really like the added functionality and quest. but the reason I love diablo 1 better than all the rest is the save function and the fact you remained in the world dungeons cleared and few respawning monsters. I was hoping that since this is beta this was just not setup right yet. I guess from this and two other post this will become just another power gamer lack of substance BS as the rest of them.

Really like where this could go hopefully the devs will get it right.

You have WayPoint every 2 levels so it's easy here to get in any place. Thats why you don't need saving. Ofc sometimes u want to make a quest or for ex. kill hard Boss where save is very helpful but that's the thing! Makes game much harder and fix some bugs which u can do with save.

I was unclear on the save every two levels its not in any of the errata I have read yet. That is not to bad then. Other than the save before bosses issue I just like to play over lunch or other limited times and I haven't made it to one of these yet. One of the things I liked about Diablo 1 (what many games these days don't allow) is saving anytime so I can play as my time allows not have to schedule time to play. Ehh just how I feel about it.

Nah... After finishing some quests I just making save file backup.
