Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

As the subject suggests this post is about the list of spells. Here is a list of spells by spell book page. There are currently 5 vacancies in my spell book and I do know of Apocalypse which is in the fourth spot of page 5, although I have not obtained it yet. This leaves 4 vacancies that I am curious of. Do any of you know if there are currently spells developed for the vacant spots that like apocalypse I just haven't come across yet? Or are there just 4 empty slots as it stands right now?

Im in almost the same situation as you, but i have one more spell which is Apocalypse - it goes to the fourth spot of the level 5.

I guess Infravision would be somewhere there as well (fifth spot of level 5 or first of level 4). No clue about the missing ones of lvl6 though.

I do like Firebolt, Firewall and Fireball being a one words :3

Shouldn't it be Firebolt, Icebolt, Chargedbolt, Iceblast, etc then too though?

I don't really mind it one way or another, it just seems inconsistent. Not only that but the word "Firewall" actually denotes a barrier to protect against fire. Kind of like a fire-door is not a door made of fire but a barrier.

Just a thought was all.

Regarding spells. I am on late Torment, and have only Apocalypse that you don't have. No idea about other spells. But dude, how comes u still haven't found Apoc. book??? I just killed Diablo on Normal with $player 10, and he dropped one. And on hell on $player 0 i found them everywhere!

I guess one more missing spell would be Resurrect

4 spells are not enabled/missing.

Something like summon your stash to dungeon, summon succubus, doomfire and 4 is not even ready idea

The RNG hates me, its a proven fact.
I've even had a +2 apocalypse spell staff since late normal if I recall correctly... Still does me no good.

Brightlord pleeeeeaaaase, give us Infravision! Give it a long cooldown / high mana cost / short duration / all three of these / whatever is necessary - but make it avaliable!

It's RNG, like Jofuss said... I'm clvl39 sorc that makes runs - Lost Treasure chests Hell/dlvl16-17 Normal with $player4/easy dlvls13-16 (without lightning immune mobs) on nightmare with $p0. After hundreds of those runs i found just 3 apoc books. First one in LT chests, second one from 3rd seal boss on norm and third one was dropped by one mob on nightmare. So... Great that you have many Apoc drops but some people really have worse drops ;p

i'm sorry to hear this.... At the beginning i was collecting all the apocalypse books, but now my mage has almost maxed it out and i have like 10 books for my other chars (which of course don't have enough magic to read them), so i just ignore this books now... But in exchange i lack other items that other players get early.

I'll get one eventually... and it will probably end up being one of those "uber" spells I never used anyway.

Nice. But it depends on you. How are you gonna deal with mobs who are immune to lightning, and cold, but only resistent to fire? If there is one mob, you can use fireball or firewall, but if there are 10 of these mobs - apocalypse will certainly not be one of those "uber" spells you never used anyway

For these types of situation - guardian and teleport are perfect combo xd Apocalypse for me is more like spell for elemental immunes. Maybe because i have just slvl3 Apoc... ;p

Those are my favorite! Blood Star / Heal / Dark Pact! I could do that all day long.

Dont worry, Apocalypse is much more useful than Meteor cluster and company.

blizzard is actually usefull vs some "orange-named" or "blue-named" bosses (don't know what's the type for them), who are immune to everything but extremely non0resistant to cold.

Also i met a guy lately with quadripple-immunes, so the most effective thing i could do was use a bow and golem, and shoot while holding blizzard spell. The attack speed buff from blizzard is insane Dunno if it's a bug or supposed to be so.
