Sorcerer Diablo strategy Nightmare

Anyone have any suggestions on how you went about clearing Diablo's level in time and killing him on nightmare as a sorcerer?
I'm not looking for "farm more fat loot" or "learn to play" please...
Specific recommendations for stats/strategies would be very welcome and helpful.
I've been farming some lost treasure runs to no real avail. Nothing really better than what I am using seems to drop which leads me to believe the item level restrictions for the level are too low. Running around in the "Hell" levels at $players 10 over and over doesn't seem to net me much either except excess deaths from unique mobs or doing something stupid like moving too fast.
While I can slowly move my way through the level I am concerned that even if given unlimited time, I'm not sure I could actually defeat all of the bosses in Diablo's level as some of them are either immune to everything I throw at them (after neg resist staff and elemental drain) or the damage is so low compared to there high damage that I can not sustain the fight.
I would just like some pointers on what some of you guys have done to defeat him on Nightmare please and thank you.
Best regards

i got all resistances on max. i assume this as almost necessary (especially fire/lightning). what helped me a lot was spamming guardians. this and chain lightning and he wasn't a big problem. way easier than the 1st seal boss for me.

I've cleared Terror Domain just with Guardian spell and ocasionally Elemental Drain (usually on seal bosses). Diablo was easy for one reason - nice map generator xD I lured him into trap, he didn't took any action, and then just Guardian spam as well.

Do you only have problems clearing the 3 seal bosses, or also big problems with the normal mobs?
Of course, first of all you need staves with monster Resistance Reduction.
So, before you open the seal for the first seal boss, first clean the 4 rooms on that level. Then, once you open the seal, use Golem for distraction and Elemental Drain/"Time Slower Skill"/Bone Spirit combo. For better damage you need Stave with Magic Res Red. Then, once you got him low, use chain lightning or Blood Star to finish him.
Other alternative would be casting guradians, but it takes too much time.
For the second seal boss, use the same. Clear the mobs with apocalypse, then kill that poor guy with Golem/elemental drain/Bonespirit.
Be carefull that he TPs to you once in 12 sec or so, so have your golem and TP ready.
For the third seal boss is kinda the same, or use Chain Lighting, since it also kills the risen skeletons.
And Diablo.... Guess how you could kill him?

Yeah, resists are obviously maxed. I haven't even actually made it to Diablo yet to see how he would fare. The Seal bosses are hanging me up on Map of Stars time.

I've tried this method while also running around with chain lightning... It just seems I can't kill fast enough to get to Diablo in time.

The normal mobs are fine but tedious and slower than I would like. Guardian, sentinel, lightning and fire wall and chain lightning...
I make sure to clear all the walkways before trying to tackle seals.
As far as apocalypse goes... I WISH i had apocalypse but I haven't come across it yet. (Does it even drop in nightmare?)
Eh oh well...
Thank you all for the input... I guess I'll just continue to farm exp and whatnot for now.

My first apocalypse book was dropped from Lost Treasure chests on hell but... Yesterday one book was dropped by 3rd seal boss on normal so... Yes, there is a propability of dropping this book on nightmare but from high level mobs.

oh, i remember i had a bit of difficulties with Nightmare Diablo too, so i practiced the Diablo level on normal a couple of times, to get better in timing

And it helped! (also you might get some good items from him, especialy if changing the $player)

Well I was finally able to kill the first boss.... it wasn't easy... Took many tries... I guess I should have named the topic "How do I kill the first seal boss instead....
Second boss: Well that's not how I wanted to win... he got all glitchy and stopped moving...
Benedict the third boss... was a pushover....
And diablo was very anticlimactic.

When teleport of second boss was nerfed he's quite easier to dodge. But it's still needs a strategy to put guardians, lure him to this spot, place some more guardians, use elemental drain and go with lightning and/or blizzard. And still be carefull of his teleport/charge.

Yeah the first go and the second go were rough on him but I got the hang of it on the third try... half way through he glitched on me anyways and stopped moving O_o
Edit: Oh shit! I just realized I'm wearing my gear I was farming lost treasure with... The only thing I changed was my staff for neg fire resist.... LOL

congratulation for succeding to next level

As for me, the first boss was the toughest. After him the other ones are kindergarden. At least with sorcerer

I had similar glitch while fighting Diablo. Or maybe it's not glitch but intentional? I don't know... Just to be sure i won't post screen or description what i did ;p But for sure it was tough run and i know that i need few more lvls and better equipment to try again TD $p0 again...

For me still the toughest one is second seal boss. First one is much easier because it's easy to have him on distance. Second one is really tricky... Because while it's harder to have good distance from him to spam guardian/chain lightning... He's less forgivable when we talk about mistakes...
