Data.mpq?

I install and copy the files as needed, but when I try to run the HD Diablo Mod, it says it needs the data.mpq file. It is right in the game data folder, I don't know why it doesn't run. Any advice?

Did you copied DIABDAT.MPQ directly into the mod folder, or into some of the subfolders? Also remember that in needs data file from Diablo, not from Hellfire expansion pack.

I did. I copied the one from the disc and I also grabbed the Diablo, not Hellfire, data file. It's asking for that one, just data.mpq, and though it is right there next to the program, still insists that it isn't there.

Benutzt die neuere Original CD!

1. Installiert diablo 1 nach c:\

2. Nun entpackt die runtergegladene ZIP in den Ordner c:\ diablo

3. Bei den meisten die alte CDs benutzen....steht eine Fehlercode.... cant find data.mpq

4. Das liegt daran das ein Neuer Ordner innerhalb Diablo entstehen muß!!!Der nennt sich ......c:\diablo\DATA

5. In ihm steht die Datei game_date und player_save

6. CD:\diabdat muß von der cd in diablo rüberkopiert werden, damit ihr nicht mehr von CD laden müßt ....während des Spiels.

7. Nun könnt ihr die CD wegschmeissen!javascript:emoticon(':twisted:')

8. Den ganzen Ordner als >sicherheit in einen anderen kopieren und nach belieben zurück kopieren.

Leider gibt es noch keinen Multiplayer....aber das Spiel bzw gameplay..ist besser als Diablo 1....ich spiele es sogar, weil mich Diablo 3 ROS langweilt!

Wer es nicht glaubt kann meine Figuren auf D3 bestaunen.
