Is there going to be option to create HC character?

There is already option to play HC mode. When you die with your character you just delete it and start over with new one (;

Well it's impossible to do because characters can be backed up by copying save file.

a true hc player will still delete his char after death and play legit . i would of done so if it was RLY a hardcore option. but without it oh well "clicks restart in town "

but doesn't hardcore also mean better chance to get items or something like that? I'm thinking about Diablo 2 though, no idea about D3...

^ This seems fair. Hardcore mode characters should get a bonus to magic find.
