Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

I have 30lvl Rogue and i can't kill Diablo on normal dif. I tried to farm better eq. in cave from wirt's map quest, but i still can't slay him.

I have ~325 dps, so i think that maybe problem is with my defense - how much armor should i have? Or maybe damage reduction is key to succes? Or big vitality/health value?

I was experimenting with maxing resistances, especially fire, but diablo's apocalypse spell is almost one-shotting me.

So once again - do you have any tips for me?
How you killed Diablo?
If i need better eq - what are best farming spots?

I want to play on nightmare difficulty!

Diablo is lord of terror. He will attack with spells more often if you are far away from him. Keep close distance but dodge spells and melee.

nokozan amulet helped me a tons vs apocalype ( gives u 12% max fire res,but u lose light res)

max light res vs his lightning spell.

i had 20% fastr hit recovery


difference is i was a barb not a sin.
i played sin and as far as i know sin has rly low life. so my suggestion maybe is to get around 300hp +

but i admit without nokozan even my barb with 350hp had a hardtime vs apocalypse

I pass the nomal diablo with my 28 lvl rogue,

life is 23x and magic 19x

I think you should raise your resist fire to 75% max

I kill the diablo with 20 bottle of golden

Just keep levelling, you should be able to do level 16 and Lazarus clears at $player 5+ easily and you'll be able to grind up to 33-34. Diablo and the seal bosses at 34 with max res barely touched me, whilst at 30 they torn me to shreds with pretty much the same gear.

Character level is very important in Diablo 1 and this mod, it's brilliant tbh.

i have similiar problem, but my rogue cant beat first seal boss. So, i... create mage , but i want back to my first char i try beat at least norm-nm difficulty. Just iam afraid first and second seal boss(tp, growing attack speed, charge - killing machine!). Good luck!

Not going to lie I cheesed diablo so much with my rouge. Got him next to the wall by that middle walkway then teleported over the wall and shot homing arrows around the corner until he died.
