I just noticed that you cancel the effect of shrines and elixirs via pressing the right mouse button.
in my opinion this is not very well chosen. if i try to kill monsters from the distance and aim at the upper right corner i have to cancel my buffs in order to use my skills/spells...

Just aim in the location they are heading.
I never accidentally canceled my own buff.

what about walls (fire, lightning)? you have to aim at a specific spot...
