Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Hello,

I just got my first set item combo, Cathan's Seal (ring) and Cathan's Mask (helmet), combined together the set bonus is "Magic hit Damage: 15 to 20"

I am wearing the items, and I don't see any difference to my damage in character sheet or damage delt numbers in combat, I have tried various things like new character, no other items and still can not see the damage bonus.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

The creature I kill takes only 4 damage.
The weapon is a 4 to 8 damage item.

sounds like a bug then, nothing will be done about it because belzebub isn't getting updated anymore but I can check if it's fixed in tchernobog
