Cannot seem to figure out transmuting gems

[Mr.Howdy]

Howdy guys, I have a level 41 Necro in Diablo Belzebub. I can’t seem to transmute Flawless gems into perfect gems… Am I doing something wrong?

I can transmute three flawed gems into a diamond ruby, emerald, etc. but from there nothing else transmutes. I’m not sure if I’m doing something incorrectly.

Any help at all would be fantastic.
