Are you in Single Player or Multiplayer?

If in Single, know this :

Single Player characters are run by save games, wheras Multiplayer is saved on Battlenet. You have the hassle of saving your game every now and then in Single Player. My tip for you would be to save OFTEN.

Then again, you're not really missing out on anything Single Player wise, aside from quests, the monsters are as difficult there as in Multiplayer

EDIT : And as a little tidbit, I didn't know we had Hardcore As far as I am concerned, D1 has like, no hardcore option whatsoever, and Idk if this mod is any different there
