Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

after my game crashed, I can't load my character game anymore : new game impossible for this specific character (I can create a new game play with a new character etc.)
the screen is frozen on the tavern picture with the progression bar which does not show any progress

anyone can help ?

Im not an expert, but there is a chance your saved file is corrupted and lost for good.
You should always keep back up copies of your saves.
