Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

So I'm far from an expert at this game, currently struggling to beat nightmare difficulty diablo on my lv37 sorc, but that's not what this is about.
I want to farm some more spell levels and had some questions about that:
1. Does magic find affect the kind of books dropped? I have a magic find set and I genuinely can't tell if it helps with books or not.
2. Where is the best place to farm books? I would assume the chamber after the Lost Treasure chests because it has 6 bookshelves and the bosses are fairly easy.
I'm just looking for some help in this case since I want my Apocalypse to hit like a truck but I've only found 1 book so far. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

MF affects drops from enemies and chests.

Seek books in the rooms in Catacombs, Lost Treasure Beyond. Buy them when available from the Witch.

The higher level spell books will mostly drop at higher difficulties. Hell levels in Hell difficulty and anywhere in Torment.
