Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

so i play through and clear floor 1 of the cathedral.
exit out of the game
reload the game later
character stats and inventory saved fine

but when i re enter the cathedral, the game has generated a new floor 1, i have no map explored and monsters are everywhere again, please help!

That is the way the mod was designed.

Completed quests are saved though. Your only option is to never close out the game or just bypass the areas you have already cleared out.

This mod is meant for the grind and to return to areas to kill and kill again.

Just use the telepads, that's what they are there for.
