Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

I'm newbie here...
I found that 2 ways to reset stats. these are still works?
(game version : beta 1.045)

1. kill diablo in torment difficult. 10% chance to get essense of diable and use it to reset his/her stats.

2. reach max lv 60 and gain overflow experience. then make a new game. now stats are redistributable.

Number 2 does work. It takes a lifetime to get to level 60 and overflow the exp, though. I have no idea how people have the patience for this.

Number 1 is something I absolutely have never heard of in all the years I've played this mod. I my self have killed Diablo in Torment hundreds of times, if this was true I would have found a bunch of this "essense of diable" by now. I don't think there ever was anything like this in this mod.
