OpenGL problem

Post by Striker699 »

Hello, I have a problem turning on the mod. I bought the game a few years ago, it is impossible to start using system methods, e.g. by an administrator, Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 I have. Is there a way to deal with this error with openGL?

Error: "OpenGL version unrecognized or insufficient to run program."

My computer: (RAM) 4.00 GB, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Cpu T6400 @ 2.00Hz 2.00GHz, system x64 and win10.[/url]

Welcome to the forums!

I'm crossing my fingers that this is just a glitch we can solve with the ol' nuke and pave. Delete the whole folder and do a fresh install. That should load the correct data set of OpenGL when you install the original Diablo from your disc/file (in the game menu itself).

Okay. Your problem is almost definitely an incompatibility issue everybody had with a unpdate patch Win10 made everyone upload back in Spring, so we need to regress the build back to before that happened.

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery (tab on the bottom left) > Go back to the previous version of Win10. That's going to take a few minutes and your computer will restart. After it does go into the Belzebub folder, right-click the icon you use to start the game, and make sure you Run as Administrator and Run in Compatibility Mode (WinXP if it gives you a choice). It was a shit update anyway.

If that doesn't work, you may have regressed the latest video drivers when you did the roll-back, so go to Settings > Device Manager > Display Adapters > your video card > Update and let it search automatically.

Hope that fixes it. If it doesn't let us know.

i guess that PC can't run if you use internal(on-board) GPU.

> Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Cpu T6400

i think you're using laptop(notebook) because that processor is based "Penryn Mobile core"
(Penryn Mobile = notebook processor)
then, internal GPU on that CPU is Intel GMA965 or X3100.
some members reported Intel GMA965 / X3100 has issues on running this mod.

<Graphics error>

what is that PC's GPU ?
try compatibility on exe to "Windows XP SP3" if that PC has d-GPU.
(d-GPU = Graphics board/processor called "Geforce / Radeon")
