The title already says it. is there any reason to craft arch mage equipment instead of spellweaver stuff? because the spellweaver stuff can get +3 to spells and it seems like at least 50 magic and + attributes as well.

I did have a melee character once who was trying to abuse the "x% damage absorbed by mana" equipment, but that's about the only corner case I can think of where having more MP is better than having higher level spells. In the long run having the more potent spells is going to probably cost you less mana anyway, since you'll have to cast it fewer times to kill stuff.

You need archmage for reading books anyway, and you also can use it instead of spellweaver if you are using page 5 spells which do not benefit from spellweaver recipe.

gives arch-mage more magic than spellweaver? cause i got a spellweaver belt with over 40 magic and 1x to all attributes...
