Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

I've played belzebub for a while and decided try out tchernobog.
But there's an issue when I try to create a new hero.
After naming the character, instead of entering the game, the screen goes back to "new hero". Therefore, I can't even create a hero.
I'm running the game on a Windows 10 64 bit.
Anyone know what the problem is?

Right-click the Tchernobog icon you use to start the game, select 'run as administrator' and 'run in compatability mode' if you haven't already. Odds are what you're seeing is your system rejecting the game's request to start a few new files because it doesn't have the correct permissions yet.

tried it. Still cannot create a hero.

1. Just to make sure, you haven't overwritten the Belzebub files with Tchernobog, correct? Both games are in their own file? Pretty basic but it's a step we need to cover.
2. It might be the video card.

3. If those don't work do a reinstall.
4. Make sure no keys are stuck on your keyboard and sticking down.

Those are the common causes, if those don't work you may have found a legitimate bug in the new version.

Tried all of the above. Still doesn't work.

Try this:
1. Open your Documents folder (or C:\Users\*YOURUSERNAME*\Documents)
2. Create a new folder called: Diablo 1 Tchernobog
3. Open this folder and create two folders: Settings and Save
4. Open the Save folder and create the last folder: backup

Now try running Tchernobog as admin.
