Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but my skeleton or a zombie can't hit anything. They hit enemies like 1 out of 10 attacks. Am I missing something? I couldn't find anything about this in the forum.

They get better as you advance in levels. Low-level necromancers use them mostly as meat shields (or I guess bone shields in the case of skeletons) but they'll eventually become a good source of damage. Increasing your Vitality will give them more hit points; it may become necessary to put some points into Magic to get the damage of your spells up (or, more commonly, to use a nice staff or spell you found) but try to pump it with equipment instead.

I found the minions are more of a hindrance at low lvls than anything. So I gave my necro a bow set and let him plow through, only using minions for bossy fights.

I stopped playing him at the mid 20's but I heard they get really strong at the higher lvl's and higher difficulties.
