Lightning enchanted mobs seem to be broken. I have stacked Lit resist and high HP but if I melee a lightning enchanted mob its still like instant death :S

Especially If you are dealing with a Lightning enchanted Black Death it's black death stacks still affect you If lightning bolts hit you damn
I had twelve stacks of Black Death debuff before I died.
I think Black Death debuff should not stack

I'm very sorry for your character's death, but that is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Considering how rare it would be to have that interaction I just think the game designers never realized the sparks would give you their own debuff. I've certainly never encountered it.

Still, nerfing the debuff itself to deal with it seems bad; since each instance is only a single point of Vit the whole point is that it's only dangerous on a stack.

The stacks are capped at 137. But if you run the game in compatibility mode cap is removed. Do not run the game this way unless you want ultra HC experience with black deaths.
