Big Confused Guy.. Daiblo1\Hellfire Mod

First i think it is semantics here But
Is AWAKE a mod for Diablo 1 or Hellfire or both. Cause
the header is ... Diablo ! HD Hellfire mod -Awake... so here do I extract stuff my Diablo folder or my Hellfire folder???
Secord issue The colour fix doesn't hold why..
Plz list steps to install properly I have done this
Stand alone Belzebub works nice C:\ Games\ Daiblo
Diablo 1 C:\ Diablo [ separate from Belzebub] Blizzard patches 1.09 and 1.09b awake v6.5 then awake 6.9b then d1.09 Awake_x86 fix
colours still screwed or crash to desktop.. changed DEP exclusion worked Colours screwed up
then I did Hellfire ISO[ Sierra folder Helfire folder] tried same steps no joy
Then tried The Hell mod, colours not screwed BUT resolution sucks, it's stupid hard and big ass music files don't work same lame diablo music.
So I'd like to try AWAKE HD again for the look but have the colours not get screwed up..any
I'm sure it's an operator malfuction but where did i screw up
